Inter Meet Besiktas To Discuss Medel

Inter reportedly met with representatives from Besiktas in Milan in order to discuss the potential of Gary Medel’s transfer.

The Nerazurri’s defensive midfielder has been linked with a move to Turkey, as Boca Juniors can not afford the fees demanded by Luciano Spalletti’s squad.

According to the media, a meeting is currently underway in Milan between representatives of both clubs, as they see an agreement could be made.

The 30-year-old has spent the last three seasons with Inter after signing a contract from Cardiff City in August 2014.

Associated with Medel experience, he had been in the young squad of Universidad Catolica since 1997 and entered the senior team in 2006.

In 2009 he turned to Boca Juniors, then to Sevilla in 2011.

His figure has also helped Chile’s national team squad since 2007 when he was still in the club Universidad Catolica.
